French-born Jean-Francois Thierion educated at CNIOP, The School for Ceramics in France, since 1998 however established with own studio workshop cum gallery in Denmark.

Previously Thierion maintained his own studio in La Borne, the well-known center for French ceramics, where the medium and technique which are basis for his highly accomplished monumental vessels, cone shaped vases and circular dishes were developed.

With numerous exhibitions to his name in France and Denmark, he has now furthermore exhibited widely in the UK with Cultural Connections CC:
Collect in The Country, Henley on Thames, ArtinClay Hatfield House, Hertfordshrie, the Hawker Gallery Buckinghamsire and noticeably at COLLECT 2011 at the Saatchi Gallery London, and this year at SOFA 2012 NEW YORK and COLLECT 2O12, The Saatchi Gallery London.
